Hi,

Ever heard of a product called TTWIN(comes from down-under), because it
is relatively cheap, I am stuck with it... Their latest release has SSL
capability, yet no doco...

My actual question is, has any one of you successfully configured this
product for SSL. My need is only for Server authentication, and
encryption after that, what is more, is that all the IBM doco, uses
Netscape rather than IE in their panels of importing keys, which in
itself does not help. However, I imported the key as personal on my PC,
I can select it under MY, in the SSL config of the emulator, yet it
seems like this thing wants to do client authentication, which is not
what we want. Maybe this message I get from my workstation under My
Computer/Properties/Manage/Event Viewer/System gives away the clue...

The SSL client credential's certificate does not have a private key
information property attached to it. This most often occurs when a
certificate is backed up incorrectly and then later restored. This
message can also indicate a certificate enrolment failure.

After sending the certificate to the PC, I Imported it as a .cer, which
implies x509 , but I am not sure if it does not need to be a PKCS #7
.spc or .p7b

Any Ideas ?

As you can gather, this is my first involvement with SSL...

Regards

Herbie
