The syntax of the statement is:
DATE{(yyddd,yyddd)} | {(mmddyyyy,mmddyyyy)}
where: yy is the last two digits of the year, ddd is the day of the year

What a shame IBM didn't seize the opportunity to adopt the "rest of
the world" standard of
yyyy-mm-dd
Note: RMF supports a sliding window which covers the time frame:
Current Year - 50 <-> Current Year + 49
IBM have outdone themselves here. For data that, by definition,
pre-dates the Post Processor run, why are they using such a window?
