That depends on the keyboard mapping and translation tables. On a real
3270 ¬ is Shift-6, but for many of us Caret is Shift-6 and ¬ is
something else, e.g., Alt-Shift-6.

Then it sounds as though ¬ is *not* Shift-6 for you. I suggest that
you check the actual hex value that you are sending. A GTF trace for
SVC 34 is probably the best way to do that, since it will show you the
data after all translations.
