That assumes that everyone has and uses PAV.
It was my understanding that the s.c.p. as to elliminate IOS queue time
and channel setup time. Those are still existing overheads, though they
are not near what they used to be...
Maybe because with dynamic PAV's ASM always has 2 exposure to all Pageds and
can now keep the channel program running without suspending it?
