Thanks for the verification. I am a bit paranoid because this is a "must do, no fail" type situation that management is very HOT on and expects to be done very quickly. And I have almost 600 manual 3490E DFHSM backup tapes and a bit over 900 manual 3490E ML2 tapes to get recycled. I'm only doing the backup tapes in the first stage. Doing them one at a time would take way too long. Doing 4 to 5 at a time should be much better. We have 32 manual 3490E tape drives.
