I have some doubts on terminal simulators.
Terminals can be simulated from sequential datasets using DFHTCT macro.
I have the following doubts on simulated terminals:
1.In DFHTCT we have a ddname coded in ISADSCN.This dataset has few transactions
written
in each line like follows:
Tran1
Tran2
Tran3
The following entries are found in the dataset whose ddname is coded in OSADSCN:
Tran4
Tran5
CESF GOODNIGHT$
To my understanding during initialisation Tran1,Tran2 and Tran3 are executed
sequentially.
But I dont clearly understand the execution point of Trans4 and Tran5!
2.Manual says that PLTPI programs are executed during CICS initialisation.What
will
be the priority relationship between the execution of PLTPI programs and
transactions
written in the simulated terminal(like the Tran1,Tran2,Tran3 of point 1)?
