John,

I don't know for sure but I'll take a stab at it. My 1.4 system is set
up the same way and it appears from the program directory for the CBPDO
install that you can run SDSF from a STEPLIB or TSOLIB which would allow
you to remove the ISF.SISFLOAD library from the LINKLIST. In that case
you would need the ISF.SISFLINK library in the LINKLIB if you also
wanted to run the SDSF server.

My guess is that we both could remove the ISF.SISFLINK library from our
LINKLIST without any problems being the SISFLOAD is also there. Just
don't delete it or SMP/E won't be very happy. ;-)

Rex

Does anybody know why this dataset exists? On my z/OS 1.6 system, it
contains only two member: ISFEHRTM and ISFEHRTS. These two members are
also in ISF.SISFLOAD. I have both of the datasets in my linklist, but I
don't really know why.
