It's been good so far, except I've had a cold all week.
I learned:
1. My JES2 migration from 1.4 to 1.7 (exits) isn't the "piece of cake" I
thought.
2. I can probably do what I want with Dynamic VIPA, if I can figure how
to talk to the LAN folks in their language.
3. Some nice new stuff in Unix System Services.
4. I have more to do in RACF as I move 1.7 from sandbox to LPARs running
DFHSM
5. Did I mention JES?
6. EJES will do what we need as a substitute for SDSF.
7. Sam still gives one hell of a useful presentation.
8. Software priced by "mips" on the floor still sucks large....
9. Our ISV's and our business partner have nice people working for them.
10. Mainframes ARE NOT DEAD!
11. Other stuff also :) It's been well worth the trip. Except, almost
every session, I needed to also be at one or more others.
