AOL is indistinguishable from the illegimate child of m$win and the Lord

But how do you really feel?
Actually, I like AOL for a number of reasons,
such as:
1. It is a simple to use interface that covers
a lot of territory
2. When I am on the road (especially out of the
country) with no broadband access, I can
always find an AOL local phone number to
check my AOL (personal) email and then to
piggy back on for using Thunderbird to
check my [EMAIL PROTECTED] (work)
email.
There are reasons I don't like AOL, such as:
1. constant in-your-face update / upgrade pushes
(although that has mitigated recently, it
seems)
2. they dropped support for newsgroups, which
was one of their best interface offerings
Like most stuff in life, it is more complex than
visceral reactions.
Kind regards,
