I am currently in the process of switching from CA-Opera to CA-OPS/MVS. We are currently in the process of bringing in CA to help us convert . I was just trying to get a jump on things. I am having trouble trying to determine what to use within an ALERT process to communicate with CA-7. The one thing I found said you can't use with an ALERT process. The other ways don't specify. So what format do I use to communicate with CA-7? I would like to update the WLB classes when A STC is started. Another thing I need to do - With CA-Opera I have commands setup which shutdown certain applications. At certain times I interrupt the processing with a delay before I continue on with another commands. Is there an example of this ? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You
