Ted, Just to make sure that I'm really understanding your position: You are basically saying that the only valid way to do disaster recovery for I.T. is with a second, remote, duplicate, real-time replicated, company owned site. Literally anything less is a complete waste of money. If that is true, then only really large companies need bother. Or am I misunderstanding you? Of course, the real reason that most companies use money for D.R. is because it is required. Either by auditing practices or by law. Violate the auditing practices and your stock price is in jeopardy (read: stock holder lawsuits).
