I have a problem with HSM issuing reserve for volume that contains BCDS,
when automatic backup starts. It doesn't cause problems every day, but
occasionaly does. What bothers me is that I have in DFHSM procedure:
DFSMSHSM PROC CMD=00,
EMERG=NO,
LOGSW=YES,
STARTUP=YES,
UID=HSMSMS,
SIZE=0M,
DDD=50,
HOST=1,
PDA=YES,
CDSQ=YES,
CDSSHR=YES
And in parameters in ARCCMDxx I specified USERDATASETSERIALIZATION .
When I read the book (Implementation and Customization Guide), I understand
that I don't have to specify special RNLs if I have this setup. Am I wrong
here , why does HSM issue reserve?
