Esteemed listers I'd like to modify our Storage Groups structure to react quickly if the SG is in shortage of space.
We want to create some SG with many volumes (say 100) defined but only few (say 20) having a real DASD allocated, the other should be only entries in SG. I did it in other shops without any problem but here we are using PAV (so using alias). Is there any problem of defining so many volumes (not all really with a DASD) in a SG using PAV ?
