Hello Cletus, I am not sure if I understand you correctly, what will be you final config ? Three LPARs with z/OS + one LPAR as CF ? And all sharing three CPUs ? Nobody can tell you what it will lok like as we don't know what is your current utilization of CPUs, but I would recommend you to purchase ICF processor for CF LPAR, don't share CPUs for z/OS and CF. CF can eat whatever it gets. And you pay MLCs for that processors although you will run a lot of CF code on it... BTW, running both test and production in one LPAR ?
