I have little knowledge about how many shops are there in Spain. We belong to
the Spanish Region of GSE Europe, and I'm working closely with its z/OS Work
Group. This WG has about twenty active members, one fourth of them are big
shops (may be over 2K MIPs). I think the other are below that line. Most of
them are located at Madrid, some other stand at other big cities like
Barcelona, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Valencia, San Sebastian and La Coruña, but I'm
sure these are not the only ones.
I hope this can give you a snapshopt mainframe performance outside USA.
