while some of the options in the DSLIST entry panel are sticky,
apparently saved in the profile, two of the more tedious options,
"Confirm ... Delete", seem to be turned on every time I enter
DSLIST. Is there any way to turn them off and make them stay off?

Gil,

When I turn DELETE CONFIRM OFF, I'm 'aware' of what I just did and I'm very careful about the keys I press from that point onwards. When I exit and re-enter a DSLIST, it's always reassuring to know CONFIRM DELETE has been reset back to ON.

Given that C, E, R, S and X are all right next to the letter D on a keyboard (i.e. functions that would often be used in a DSLIST), are you sure you'd really want CONFIRM DELETE to permanently remain OFF after setting it that way?

If enough people wanted CONFIRM DELETE to remain 'sticky' like the other DSLIST options, it's an enhancement I could easily make to the MacKinney ISPF interface product. However, I just can't imagine that many people would want it to work that way.

I vote NO! to 'sticky' CONFIRM DELETE. The current behaviour is fine and has saved my butt on many occasions.
