I submitted 7 separate corrections, and identified
11 items that were simply missing from the manuals and 17 areas that were
misleading (IBM doesn't have a category for misleading).
Just curious, are you speaking of submitting a RCF (readers comment form)? When I submit RCFs, I just send a free text email to the email address in the front of the manual. No categories, so I feel free to comment on anything. I never submitted an RCF to JES2, but I get good responses for the BCP and SMS manuals. Prompt email acknowledgements, and usually a followup to tell me what they decided to do. Sometimes they even ask me to proof the revised text!
