Bruce, You mention about the DUMP statement,LOGMESS=YES. I searched for LOGMESS=YES but I didn't find anything. Can I use this example? DUMP TYPE=FDR,PRINT=DSN,ENQ=OFF,RTC=YES,MAXERR=1,LOMESS=YES MOUNT VOLG=GAA
Bruce Black <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Willie, there is an operand on the DUMP statement, LOGMESS=YES, which causes all error messages to be echoed in JOBLOG (also in SYSLOG and possibly on the operators console). It is not documented for ABR but is documented for some other FDR programs. But it works in ABR. You may also have noticed that when you got the error, the ABR step ended with RC=12. That is always an indication that something did not work normally so you should look for error messages. -- Bruce A.
