Well, I've just added a couple of free papers, in pdf format, to our web site. These papers include content I found interesting, even helpful, but that doesn't fit into any of our courses:
1. Hosting a Web Site on z/OS - one person's experience provides some clues and pointers that might help you get started in the fun world of the Web under z/OS. And, if you're running current software, all you need is already on your system - no extra charge! [Note: if you are running even semi-current software, you can do this.] 2. Serving Java Docs this summarizes my results and findings and techniques involved in attempting to put the Java online documentation on our z/OS system and serve them to browsers. The conclusion is: you proably don't want to do this. But the process was instructive enough you may gain some insights into this z/OS / Internet world. Both papers are accessible from our web site. Go to: http://www.trainersfriend.com/General_content/Book_site.htm and these are the last two papers in the first table. Hope you find them useful.
