These are nothing but truncated versions of the IEC/NIST standard
binary-multiple prefixes, constructed by analogy with the corresponding SI
prefixes, since 2^10 = 1024 is approximately equal to 10^3 = 1000.
2^10 kibi Ki (SI decimal prefix is kilo)
2^20 mebi Mi (SI decimal prefix is mega)
2^30 gibi Gi (SI decimal prefix is giga)
2^40 tebi Ti (SI decimal prefix is tera)
2^50 pebi Pi (SI decimal prefix is peta)
2^60 exbi Ei (SI decima;l prefix is exa)
