When we do a D/R test we do a CBU on the D/R machine and take it from a
2064-1C1 to a 2064-1C5. we didn't get the upgrade backed off before the
grace time expired and got a message that the machine we kneecapped and
would have to be por'd to get out of the kneecapped state. We have one lpar
up on the kneecapped machine and have noticed that sometimes it runs okay,
like I would normally see on a 1c1 an sometimes it barely moves. Does
anyone know what they do to kneecap a processor ? Does this affect just the
regular engines or does it kneecap the coupling engines also ?
