I hadn't intended my comment to be just rhetoric. I was just picking up on the "...SUPPORTED AT THIS TIME.." part of the message.
I had fallen into a bit of a quandary with TRSMAIN. Do we support it for other off-the-shelf software (i.e. cobol)? How do I go about keeping it up to date? I am in full agreement that IBM should just make the utility a base component. Dumps both to IBM and ISV software are usually requested/sent in TRSMAIN format. From my view it appears to be "expected" that everyone download/install it. Rob Schramm This e-mail transmission contains information that is confidential and may be privileged.
