That answers a question I had been meaning to ask. We upgraded (finally!) from CICS 4.1 to CICS/TS 1.3 a few weeks ago and had seen our CPU contention problems decrease dramatically; I had wondered if TS had improved use of multiple processors. Apparently that was indeed one of the upsides. (Improved memory usage also seems to be part of the picture.)
