I have installed a user ESR (IGX00222) for SVC 109 into a library in the LPALST and performed an IPL with CLPA so that the module is now included in the static LPA. When I run my test program to call the ESR, it reports that the SVC module IGX00222 is not installed in the SVC table.
If I execute a program which calls SVCUPDTE to add the ESR to the SVC table, the test program runs successfully. I know that regular SVCs may be added to the SVC table at IPL via IEASVCxx, but how are ESRs made permanent across IPLs ?
