Patrick,
There is a redbook(?) that informs the reader of the basics. Is that
what you are looking for ?
Ed
Hi Ed - what I am looking for is some easy-peasy document that shows all of
the Interesting things within z/OS and its components.
Like Security Server. I know it has LDAP and SSL capabilities, I just want
to make a presentation that shows that.
And HTTP - the languages supported, etc.
Thanks for the replys so far!
Well, it wouldn't do for a presentation, but perhaps a handout.
I've got a one page glossy piece called "Unlock FREE Software
in your IBM Mainframe"; on the back are lots of bullets of
examples, including
Web server
UNIX
Java
Unicode
REXX
and some other bullets.
Of course, it's a marketing piece (the key to unlocking the
software is to bring us in for training on it so your folks
know its there and how to use it).
But if it would help you, I'd be happy to mail you a few
(send me your snail mail address offline and tell me how
many you would like).
Kind regards,
-Steve Comstock
