Semantics, poor choice of words, whatever.

Semantics indeed! Many words, including "support", have different meanings in different contexts. For example, z/OS V1R2 _supports_ programs running in 64-bit addressing mode. But, as we all know, z/OS V1R2 is an _unsupported_ operating system. My intended use of "support" was in the former context, not the latter.

At least this gives us something to discuss over beers at SCIDS... :-)
