It's not the third-level qualifier. It's the final qualifier (always). <userid>.CNTL <userid>.PROJECT.CNTL <userid>.SUB.PROJECT.CNTL SYS2.GDPS.CNTL will all have the same profile for the individual ISPF user. Also, you can override the profile on the EDIT entry screen. When in doubt.
