The System Overview book GA22-7152 says ESA/390 mode which includes the 
functions of ESA/370 mode. So it looks possible.

Put it up on e-bay.  Got to be better than just dumping it.

Can that machine run in the old "370 mode" (non-XA)?  If so, maybe a
Hercules fan might make an offer....
