I have a Perl program that is intended to be portable but has only
been tested under OS/2. If anybody has a use for a tool that
deobuscates spam and looks up domains and IP addresses, I'd appreciate
a heads up on any portability issues in
http://www.medwayhosting.com/spam-l/deobfuscation-by-Shmuel/index.html,
whether under BPXBATCH, telnet or TSO.
Note: the code is quick-and-dirty; at some point I plan to clean it up
and add more documentation. Right now I'm primarily interested in any
problems running it on Linux or z/OS, although I am also interested in
feedback on Perl style, keeping in mind that TMTOWTDI. Bug reports are
always welcome :-(
