As the saying goes, "your problem is fixed in the next release" ... :-)
Personally, I'd check out the PTFs and put them on, so as to avoid the problems
associated with it. Read the PTF description for more details.

By the way, if you use CA-VIEW under TSO/ISPF you may have seen this already,
but the only screens in CA-VIEW that will show more than 80 chars per line are
the ones showing report contents. The SYSOUT selection menus are hard formatted
to only give you 80 characters, regardless of screen width. You still need to
scroll right an left to see more columns. The menus don't reformat to adjust to
the screen width.
