It's not a 'wrong' plan. It's a minimum. Most are still on a z/990 or smaller, so it's a good starting point. But, my point was: why worry about something as small as 128MB? Memory is cheap, and with today's memory-intensive workloads, it's cheaper than the paging overhead. When in doubt.
