Define a CTC, then "GRS planning" - excellent manual. If you've never played with CTC before it can be educational coming up with a naming standard that'll scale as systems are added in future. Hit the archives for some discussion on that. Personally I'd be recommending XCF - if you're already comfortable with the couple dataset requirements of monoplex, setting up for base sysplex will be pretty straight-forward, and then the link definitions (for GRS) just fall into place.
