Why bother? I have an IFL too that would otherwise be unused. I simply defined the CF partition to use the IFL. It works just fine. No need to "convert" it to an ICF engine. Now, I would really like to convert the IFL to a zAAP. But that apparently does cost money and my management just cannot imagine any use for Java at all. Especially on the zSeries.
