Tom Marchant <SNIP> And why wouldn't you consider UDB/DB2? Seems to me that there are certain things running on/under z/OS that when DB2 is available, you gain functionality (but not being a RACF admin I'm not sure that this is needed for LDAP these days...). Running Oracle under z/OS doesn't really turn on these types of function/features. Again, my question is "stupid" because I've been out of the loop in this area for a few releases of z/OS, RACF, SMS, etc. Later, Steve Thompson ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
