This uses Key 4 (see below).

AutoOperator is currently being worked on.

CMF, SYSPROG Services (Resolve), and MAINVIEW for OS/390 (z/OS) all uses a
common service called BBX (or BBXS). Currently, this
service is started and obtains CSA under whatever key the program that starts
it is running in. AutoOperator does not need/use BBX, but if an
installation is using SYSPROG Services under AO, BBX will be started under AO.
Currently AO runs in Key 8, so the BBX CSA is in Key 8.

There is a PTF that will be available before SYSPROG Services 3.4 becomes GA
(September) that unconditionally initializes BBX in Key 4.
I'm at home, so I don't have the PTF number handy. The Release Notes for
SYSPROG Services 3.4 will list the PTF.

AO Development/Support is working on fixing AO's use of Key 8 CSA.

I'm surprised that MAINVIEW Alternate Access is using Key 8 CSA, since it is
part MAINVIEW Infrastructure, which runs in Key 4. Maybe it is
also a BBX use victim. Open up a case to have this investigated.

I've only been with BMC MAINVIEW for OS/390 and CMF Support for 18 months.
Personally, I am appalled that it has taken a (welcome)
change by IBM to force the issue to clean up the remaining Key 8 CSA.

You are welcome to open cases (against each specific product, please) asking
when they will eliminate Key 8 CSA usage. Fair warning,
opening up ONE case asking about EVERY BMC product you have that uses Key 8 CSA
will only slow any response, as there are many
different support groups and the case will simply bounce around from one group
to another without getting back to you.
