We can ping any IP address 10.1.60.x except the gateway which is

We can TELENET from any machine with an address of 10.1.60.x. This used
to work in ZOS 1.5

Something is wrong ARP???

Not sure why ping does not work, but if you have a 10/100 OSA Ethernet adapter your packet size should be 1500 or less. Typically it would be either 1500 or 1492. It looks like at one time this device may have been an Token Ring OSA.

Can the router at 10.1.60.1 ping you?

Any special reason you do not have a default route?
