It would be no big deal to plug additional TSO editors into ISPF; the
issue is porting THE or XEDIT to TSO in the first place.

I'm not aware of any support for statistics unless you use the
ISPF/PDF editor.

I don't know what you mean by "run THE on a workstation with TSO". You
can run THE on a workstation and use it via the WSA. You can run TSO
on the workstation if you have Hercules. Those are two unrelated
environments.
