As long as the subject has been raised, does anyone know whether there are any plans to port Ruby to run on z/OS?
Perl is in the "Ported Tools" product, right? Jon <snip> I don't think it is perverse at all. One should be able to do almost everything from the shell. Why should I work in ISPF if I am more comfortable with sh or bash? (We definitely need more ported editors, too.)
