Hello, I've been tasked with creating Unicode files from a z/OS 1.4 machine and FTPing them to a Unix server. I have tried issuing a FTP with UCs2 subcommand and I keep getting a 40500 return code. This is the FTP commands I'm issuing:
[ip address] [user id] [password] PWD UCs2 PUT 'DBXP.SDB2P.PARTTAB.UNLOAD' test.part.unicode.txt CLOSE QUIT Can anyone see what I might be doing wrong? Is there another was to convert the data into Unicode? Thank you for any help!!
