I received the following message :SOV06402W Stream AVDSTR41 is not currently
active: nothing to cancel.
According to the explanation it says :
CANCEL STREAM command was issued for a stream which currently has no stream
tasks. No cancel operation is performed.
I checked the started task but it does not show me any cancel commands that
were entered. Is there someplace else where I should be looking?
John is refering to ExHPDM, the product from StorageTek to merge
multiple concurrent datasets onto a single tape.
John, the messages seem pretty clear, you issued a CANCEL STREAM for a
stream (tape output) which is not currently active. Do you think that
stream is really active?
