Baltimore has undergone a tremendous revitalization. Fifteen years ago, the city was selling houses in the "historic" (and crime-ridden) Federal Hill district for $1 to those willing to live there and remodel them. You can't touch them for less than $500,000 now!
SHARE did well by choosing Baltimore. In my report to SHARE management, I strongly recommended that they do it again.
