Just that I understand correctly the following
If I define the vtoc (below) as
VTOC(0,1,29) -
INDEX(2,0,45)
The VTOC starts at cylinder 0 for 29 tracks
The INDEX starts at cylinder 2 for 45 tracks.
If for some reason the INDEX was set to 5,0,45. Would we have a problem with
response time? Is there a set rule that the INDEX must be placed after the
VTOC?
