Normal "error" for CICS +DFHLG0777 DCCS201 980 A temporary error condition occurred during MVS logger operation IXGWRITE for log stream DFH.DCCS201.DFHLOG. MVS logger codes: X'00000008', X'00000868'.
Well CICS or CTS is smart enought to detect this and retry the request a bit later. Issue D LOGGER,L and post the results. Perhaps some problems with the logger definitions? Perhaps it's working without a new msg? Roland -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ed Micucci Sent: Thursday, September 21, 2006 8:57 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Health Checker suspended writing to log stream I am trying to run Health Checker on z/OS 1.7. I've defined a LOGR DASD-only logstream because we run a basic sysplex. On start up, it gets: *HZS0350E IBM HEALTH CHECKER FOR Z/OS 312 HAS SUSPENDED WRITING TO LOG STREAM HZS.HISTORY. RC: 00000008 REASON: 00000868 The manual says the "staging data set...has not finished being formatted". Whatever formatting process its talking about never does finish. Does anyone have any tips/ideas? Thanks.
