The VVDS is unique among VSAM files in that it does not have to be
cataloged, and it can be cataloged in multiple catalogs (every catalog
that references datasets on the volume). So the fact that it is not in
the master catalog (which is where your LISTCAT would look) is not an
error. The VVDS is in the LISTVTOC so it is fine.
Does ISPF still show the error?
