I get the same when group is already defined

IKJ56702I INVALID GROUP, CPACZ17

IKJ56718A REENTER THIS OPERAND+ -

I issued TSO command to search

SR CLASS(GROUP) mask(CPA)

CPACZ16

CPACZ17

***

And confirmed yet another way the group exists

Subject: 1.7 Install RACF

Greetings to All,
I'm doing my 1.7 install and keep ramming into the wall in RACF. I
want my SSA to be CPACZ17 but RACF won't add that as a group. I've had
our RACF guy look into it, but he doesn't see anything that really
sticks out. We get this:

ADDGROUP CPACZ17 SUPGROUP(SYS1)
IKJ56702I INVALID GROUP, CPACZ17

Then the allocation for the SYS1.RACFxxx datasets doesn't happen either.

I'm open to suggestion....
