I'd like an "Ignore tread" or "Ignore Subthread" that would stay alive
for a week or two. His suggestion for a filter stays around forever,
yours works only for messages already received.

My desire is for Java like clean-up when it is no longer needed.
Besides, just because a thread got taken over today by trolls, doesn't
mean that a new thread with the original meaningful title won't come
up in a month.
