One item mentioned in the press release that a lot of people don't know about yet (but should) is the Tivoli OMEGAMON z/OS Management Console. It's a no charge download. (That'd be "free" in the common vernacular.) Details here: http://www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/zseries/zos/zmc/ The z/OS Management Console is an especially good (and urgent) idea if you don't have any z/OS monitoring. Also a good excuse to put the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server (TEP) GUI bits on Linux on z. (Best place for it, IMHO.)
