I know, but I've used it a lot since 1988 and as long as it's available, I'll keep using it. I had a problem with it when you rewrote CSV for MVS/ESA 4.3. IIRC, before the CSV rewrite, the "loader form" of IDENTIFY returned the address of the CDE it created in R1, which was something I took advantage of in one of my sub-routines which had to be modified.
