Note my sig. AFAICT, the spam comes from the USENET
mirror, rather than those subscribed. Putting one's
address in human-readable form takes care of that
problem. If the mirroring keeps the REPLY-TO, that will
*increase* the probability of spam, not decrease it.
Absence or presence of REPLY-TO affects differently
those of us who read the list via USENET. If there's no
REPLY-TO, TO is the munged e-mail address of the
sender. Occasionally, someone posts with a REPLY-TO of the
list, and that makes things easier. However, when someone
has a REPLY-TO of their own address, I tend to think it was
just a mistake in the munging (as occasionally happens) and
change it to the list, anyway.
