When trying to simulate workload between 2 cics regions (1 for web 1 for db2) I am seeing a large number of DB2 threads in use (anywhere from 30 to 70) when as the number of users starts to grow (say around 150users).. but a little while after I hit max users (200) the number of DB2 threads drops to 5 - 8 ?? a drastic reduction, yet the workload doenst seem to diminish on the web cics region .. can anyone tell me why this might be happening ?? thanks
